• Since 2000 a researcher at the University of Saarland and Competency Center in eLearning (CCEL) at German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) developing ActiveMath : web-based adaptive learning environment for mathematics
• Involved in the OMDoc project, developing a semantic markup format for mathematical documents, an extension of Open Math
• Member of OpenMath society
