Calculating limits: Calculate the limit (if present) of the following sequences and show
that for each epsilon environment there exists an element x_n, such that all
following elements of the sequence lie in the epsilon environment. Record
your approach in detail. Draw a graph and give examples for different values
of epsilon. Determine possible error sources and point to
alternative solution paths. Provide your own interesting exercises. (*)
Show that the following statements hold. Record your approach in
detail. Draw the graph. Give Examples for different epsilon values.
Determine possible error sources and point to contingent solution paths.
Provide your own interesting exercises. (*)
Erroneous examples: There has been some work on a prototype
for erroneous examples in ActiveMath. You can find it
here . It looks
like a part of ActiveMath, but it is not yet. It does not use
ActiveMath's services, such as knowledge base or user model. It is
plainly written in Html and JavaScript.
Solve all six exercises given in the prototype:
find the error(s)
explain the cause for the error
correct the errors.
Record your experience with the prototype.
