Exercises:

Today's exercises suggest authoring ActiveMath-OmDoc exercises. To do this, George Goguadze has provided a prototype for authoring exercises. Read the Extasy manual. Currently it is not possible to integrate your exercises into ActiveMath automatically. Therefore, after finishing an exercise description, the tools shows you the complete exercise source. Send it to George Goguadze (george at activemath.org) and cc to Martin Homik. George will integrate it into ActiveMath.

  • Choose any presentation(s), we have already seen and write 5 interesting simple scq/mcq or blank exercises. For instance some on relations/functions. (*)

  • Take any three exercise that have already been presented in the seminar. Author ActiveMath/OmDoc exercises containing at least 5 interaction steps. This is a good chance to write an exercise according to Polya's framework. This exercise belongs to a (**) category, because you are working with a prototype, where errors are likely. Thus, start with this exercise as soon as possible. If you encounter any errors, inconsistencies or or unbearable limits, please get in contact with George Goguadze, such that he can fix Extasy in time. (**)
