8.11.2006 ActiveMath Authoring

For authoring please consult the Jump-start ActiveMath authoring and the ActiveMath authoring handbook at eds.activemath.org.

If you have still questions ask Paul. He is the author of that thing. Or, post to the eds authoring forum, or chat within the eds chatroom. If registered at eds you can get emails of changes happening there.

A little trick to circumvent current issues in ActiveMath:

  • from time to time ActiveMath may stop displaying some of the items you just created after a reload... it is probable that an error occurred without being properly displayed. Do take the time to restart ActiveMath. And if that continues, shut it down, delete data/lucenedb then start it up again.

18.10.2006 Room has changed

Due to some misunderstandings we moved from room HS1 to room HS3!!!

17.01.2007: Subversion Repository for your Works

(by Paul): we have opened a Subversion repository for your works to be commited. We expect there the content collections of the lectures, encoded in OMDoc, as well as the projects, properly licensed.

The repository is at http://klein.activemath.org/svn/elearningTech-Lecture-0607, please follow the instructions in the index so as to be able to commit.

25.01.2007: Automatic Display of your Lecture Notes on ActiveMath Server

(by Paul) The lecture's ActiveMath, lecture.activemath.org, is now endowed with an automated reload. Provided you have a collection that's committed into the subversion repsitory, with a content-descriptor file, just log-in into this activemath, go to Tools > MBaseRef Tools, and invoke reload of the configuration (to let new collections appear) or of your collection. This will do the svn update and will then reload and post errors that appear. Please be sure to fix them.

If you are missing the MBaseRef Tools menu, your user is not an author... all users to date are such but if you need a new user-name to become an author, please send me a mail.
