This resource is the web-view of an advanced configuration management tool that allows you to manage and version the content collection. You should have Java (and Java Web Start) installed on your client computer to use this synchronizer.

From this page you can obtain a checkout (create a workspace), update, or publish (commit) versions of the content-collection.

To start with this collection, you need to the following first steps

  • first create a directory called geometry within the content folder of your ActiveMath. If you have one, put it aside for now.
  • click on "Create workspace" to launch a Java Web Start application that will create a local folder managed by this synchronizer.
  • the application is executed and ask you:
  • Workspace Name : Unique name of this workspace. example yourName@yourMachine.
  • Base Path : local path on your hard drive to the Workspace.
  • Synchronizer URI : resource ID in LibreSource. Keep as is.
  • Login : your short name in LibreSource. Keep as is.
  • Password : your password in LibreSource.
  • click on Set : your Workspace is created !
Then you can populate your local folder and go back to the synchronizer page. Click the commit link of your workspace. Your local data placed inside of the Workspace are uploaded, versioned and shared with the project members.

In order to activate this collection in ActiveMath, you need to copy of the file ContentDescr_geometry.properties within your conf directory; alternatively, on Unix, create a symbolic link to it.
