This course considers theoretical, computational and applied aspects of optimization methods. It is authored for economists, engineers, and mathematicians. The course covers the following topics: Basic Concepts, One-Dimensional Search Methods, Multidimensional Search Methods, Methods of Constrained Minimization, and Integer Programming Methods. Examples of the specific problem solutions are given and illustrative interpretations of the obtained results are shown. The original version of the content for Optimization is in Russian. The current status of the English translation is preliminary since made by non-native speakers. We'd appreciate voluntary translators to improve the current version in order to make the course available to more students.
